One little step of obedience can impact millions
The Note
On January 10, 2013 I was at one of my FAVORITE coffee shops with a friend…when all of a sudden a man neither of us had ever seen before sets a folded up scrap of paper on our table and says…”I’m suppose to give this to you”…then he walks out the door. That note gave me confirmation in what God had been talking with me about, it gave me direction and it gave me encouragement. It served as such a powerful message that I simply framed it and placed it in my living room. I then thought…wow, so simple and non-threatening…anyone can write encouragement on a scrap of paper and give it to a stranger. All of us have the ability to change the world by encouraging others into action.
the impact
The obedience of one man has impacted my life to start a revolution of encouragement. The Lord told me that everyone is significant, that is where the first card was birthed. In continued obedience The Holy Spirit dictated to me all 100 cards.
The cards are a vessel for The Holy Spirit to move and for the Father to express His love for His children. Every person who receives a card has been encouraged and has a better idea of the value they offer the world around them. Thousands of cards have been given to countless people all around the world. From nation to nation encouragement is flowing through the body of Christ.
Handwritten
I believe hand written notes are a form of artwork given to a person. The cards started out being handwritten but within a short period of time it became evident that I could not meet the demands. Therefore typed cards allowed more people to receive encouragement.
