"My desire in life is not to have my presence known, but to have my impact felt"    -DMM

About me

I see the good in all things and all people. I am an eternal optimist who chooses to focus on what is beautiful in the world versus what is disastrous. I have been given the honor to spread the love of Christ in a wonderful way. I am honored and humbled. I have chosen to the best of my ability to walk in a place of instant obedience to the requests of the Lord. It has taken me a lifetime of many pitfalls, but with the passing of each year my obedience becomes more immediate.

I grew up in Young America, Minnesota on a small farm with my parents and two younger brothers. After high school I went to college at NDSU (North Dakota State University) where I graduated with degrees in Mass Communications and Home Economics. It is also the place I met my husband! We were married in 1992 and after a road of infertility were blessed with our first child from Bogota Colombia in 1999 and our second in 2002.

I am continually in awe of how good God is in my life. My prayer for each person is to know that you don't need to be perfect to be loved; you don't need to have it all together to make a difference; and you are SIGNIFICANT no matter your past failures, present short comings and future hurdles...God created you and me with greatness.
